International Association „Interactive open schools“ (MIOS) cooperates with numerous organizations from different parts of the world. The values MIOS is based on, the organization promotes together with a global family of organizations which build open schools in communities in different parts of the world – in southeast and central Europe, central Asia, south part of Africa, and with partners from Ukraine, Canada, Great Britain, Moldova, Armenia, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Russia, Mongolia and Poland with whom MIOS works on topics related to school development in communities.
One of the main projects where MIOS cooperates with its partners from ten countries is Community Schools Standards. The General goal of the project is to provide more responsive approach to wider auditory than schools in disseminating community schools development on local and international level by Core Team through offering the tools and professional services in developing Community Schools approach and practice according to the International Standards for Community Schools. Besides MIOS, the core team consists from the Foundation „Step by Step“ from Ukraine, „ContinYou Organization“ from UK, „Pas cu Pas“from Moldavia, „Krasnoyarsk Centre for Community Partnerships“ from Russia, „GlobeEd Services“ from Canada, „Force“ from Armenia, „The Association of organization development’s consultants“ from Czech Republic, „Life Long Learning Education“ from Kazakhstan, „The Mongolia Education Alliance“ from Mongolia and „The Federation for Educational Initiatives“ from Poland.
