Conducted training of Nonviolent Communication “LEE Online mini-lab”

At the end of the month of June, the International Association “Interactive Open Schools” (MIOS Tuzla) and the organisation NVC in Education held a three-day training “LEE Online mini-Lab”, which intended to gather all interested NVC practitioners in order to share the experience of applying Nonviolent Communication in education, but also to find new strategies for applying it in education institutions.

The training also brought together people who were interested in the LEE Lab 2020, which was supposed to be held in Jahorina mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but was cancelled due to the current health situation in the world.

During the three days of online training, participants and trainers from Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, England, the Netherlands, Italy, Canada, Germany, Romania, Scotland, Sri Lanka, Sweden and Turkey were able to connect and alter their experiences on Nonviolent Communication in education.

While working in small groups, participants discussed on the building of mutual education, researched, learned and shared. Participants were also able to share within the group their current work and projects from this area.

LEE Online Mini-Lab is based on values such as our dreams of an ideal educational system, learning through exchange of experience and building a community of schools from different parts of the world.

MIOS Tuzla plans to host the LEE Lab 2021 event that will be held live in Bosnia and Herzegovina if the health situation in the world allows us to do so.
